On a gorgeous spring day 50 years ago—May 1, 1971, to be exact—two men walked to the side of a road in Maryville, Tennessee.
One was an accomplished trim carpenter and cabinet-maker. The other, his son-in-law, was an entrepreneur with lots of dreams and even more determination.
Together, on that roadside, they pounded a sign into the dirt… And Wildwood Cabinets was born. In fact, just a few hours later, a driver saw that sign and pulled in, and then became our first-ever client.
Our industry is one where cabinetry companies typically last only a few years. But Wildwood has lasted five decades, and it’s just as much a family company as it was then.
We took over in 2002, and we think Granddad would be proud of the work we’ve done since then.
Because to this day, we work hard to carry on the Wildwood tradition of excellent workmanship, fine attention to detail, and impeccable service.
We’re proud of the work we do, but we’re even more proud of the legacy we’ve built as third-generation family cabinet-makers…
And we’d love to help your family build the cabinets of your dreams.
